So I've been MIA lately. Sorry. Little Man had his 4 month check up last week but the doctor postponed his shots a week so he could get over being sick.

The doctor said Danger has RSV. It sounds big and scary, but really it's bronchitis and croup that turns into pneumonia in really little babies. So anyway, the doctor prescribed a nebulizer, so every 4 to 6 hours we hold him next to a mini air compressor so he can breath in the medicine mist. He has been sleeping pretty good besides being sick, yeah he coughs but it doesn't wake him up, and we've had a humidifier going in his room since he started coughing.

So needless to say, my sleep-o-meter has been on E for the week. I have been exhausted! Shark took Little Man fishing and let me sleep and I was still way exhausted. Ugh. Yeah, it doesn't seem to matter how much sleep I get, it isn't enough.

I have cooked dinner 3 days in a row! Woot Woot!

Ooh, anyways, I got my new toy! My new awesome camera came! I'm so excited, and I'm way excited to learn the tips and tricks.

One day at a time.

oddities

Things I've noticed lately.

Putting the handle down on the carseat - am I the only one who does this? I know my sister in law does, but driving around town and on the highway, I see everyone (almost everyone!) driving with the handle up on the csrseat, rather than pinning it behind the seat in front of it. Weird.

Switched battery packs in my Wii remote, but completely forgot which charger they go. So I switched them but cannot remember which charge station they go to, so I stick them in the wrong one and they never get charged. Where's my brain?

Slowing down in construction zones. Back home in Wisconsin, there are 2 seasons, construction and football. It's a fact of life. Construction is always around, and you ALWAYS slow down for it. It doesn't matter how many cars are around, what time it is or how far in the middle of nowhere you are, you slow down. End of story. But not here, people just fly by!

Motivated to think about excercising but not motivated enough to go- it's cold out! That's about it. Bottom line. (But I have started walking again)

Quit choking yourself! Lately, his thing has been chewing on his fingers. The result is choking himself! I pull his fingers out of his mouth whenever I see them in there, but he's at the chewing stage. Chewing and slobbering.

Feeding man solids? Well, really mushy, liquidy solids. Apparently he's not ready but I'm kind of excited about the next steps my Little Man is taking. He's starting to get frustrated about not being able to grab things or move things. He's so close, too!

10 on 10 March!!

Here's my 10 awesome beautiful moments for March!!

 Good morning, it's naptime!
 Chow down, short load! {He can SORTA hold the bottle, for like .3 eseconds, but other than that, his hands are not helpful!!}
 The Pout. Little Man does NOT like being dirty. As soon as I changed him, he was all smiles.
 Cute little toes!!
 2nd out fit, time to play in the gym!!
 Mama was cooking lunch, and I was sitting in the crook of the sofa, fighting this lion!
 Diaper change! Pants on my head always make me smile, that and being naked!
 3rd nap, 2nd change of clothes!
 Mama's boys are ready for a wedding. Don't we look so dang handsome!
There were a few hours in between the photos cuz we drove a LONG way to the wedding, here's us finally AT the wedding. Yay!
ten on ten button
It really was a great day. Everyone at the wedding thought Danger looked so dashing! It was great to see family. The drive was kinda terrible, but he slept thru most of it and only cried the last 20 minutes. :/

Love to all!

Friday Confessional a first timer

So, I blog stalk Xazmin over at This is The Year, and she links to Mamarazzi's Friday Confessional over at Dandelion Wishes. I figured I would give it a go.

I confess...

I haven't been following politics at all. I know this sounds bad, but I don't really care. I understand that some bills and plans cause big changes, but I also understand NONE of those changes are immediate. I just really don't care about any of it. So I don't talk about it anyone.

I confess...

I HATE debating about things. I get all mad cuz most of the people I debate with are self-centered and have a hard time discerning between their opinion and fact. Just because you feel that way, doesn't make it true or right.

I confess...

I didn't know about Day Light Savings or whatever this thing is tomorrow. But now I know about it. But not if it will make a difference in my plans for tomorrow night {wedding reception and "lunch" date with Shark}

I confess...

I yell at other cars. Not just a little yell, like really holler at them. They don't use their blinkers, they don't utilize the suicide lane in the middle! Come on people, the DOT made the road big enough to put a lane in the middle so stupid drivers wouldn't cause pile-ups! Round-abouts aren't that hard. Yeah I know, some of them have 2 lanes now, get over it. If you're in it, go and get out of it, don't stop and wait for me, I YIELD TO YOU! If you're trying to get in it, don't just power thru, wait your dang turn!

I confess...
I get it from my mom. {you know it's true, ma!}

I confess...

I yell at cars for my husband even, but I never tell him how to drive. Ask him, I'm pretty good at just letting him drive.

I confess...
It takes a lot for me to open up to people. It took a while for me to open up to the man who was going to marry me, I had walls up that he had to knock down. Granted we dated for about 6 months, but it still look time.{and this might just be me, fishing for comments, but...} and since no one reads the blog anyways, here goes...

I confess...
I try my hardest, but lately, it feels like I'm still lacking and falling behind. Like it's not good enough, like I'm not doing things right. Like I'm the only one that is struggling. {I know it's not true, but you remember knowing something wasn't true and still believing it, right?}

I confess...

My hormones are still not back to normal, after being pregnant. It bugs me, believe me! It makes me mad too! I'm moody, I hate being moody.

Anyways, so that's my Friday Confessional, and I know how blessed I am.

Laugh when you can, sleep when the baby's eyes are closed. ♥

blog awesomeness

So I've been being a blog-stalker lately. Mostly via pinterest. Yeah, I suppose you could almost call me a Peeping Pinner... ;) Well, on all my peeping, I've noticed that the blogs all that these social media buttons that you can click on and it takes you to the blogger's Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Flickr, or whatever. I really wanted those buttons since the following rules have changed a bit. {Plus, I know I follow my blogs now on my Kindle, via RSS.} I wanted to make it as east as possible for people to find my blog, and all my other things.
See how cute that is? {This is from my SIL's site, Decor-ganize Crafts!}

I have been searching for social networking icons for a long while. Ok not that long, but it feels like forever since I have to fight a baby in between searching! But I found Pantone's social media icons. Free and usable, and she even links a How-To from Primp My Blog for putting them on your blog. It was easy. I just had to search for where to find my RSS feed URL. After reading it 3 times, I understood it.

I had found these flag buttons from Leelou Blogs, but I went with the mustache background for March, and the flags don't really fit or match... Maybe next month!

With how Primp my blog showed how to put them on the blog, it wouldn't been that hard to make your own buttons! Maybe that will be my next thing. {But it seems to me that everybody else can find these buttons so easy!}

I also understand that with linking my Twitter and my Facebook, it pretty much negates the fact that I use code names on our blog. I am still going to continue to use code names, cuz eventually, I'd like to have a Facebook for my blog. Maybe I'll work on that this week.... But also, my security settings on the 'Book are so high, that no one can really see anything of mine, unless they are a friend, and if they're a friend, they already know our names. ;)

Yeah, with the help of the internet, I'm awesome!!

St Pats and Fam

So I have had a St Patricks Day door decoration in my TO DO box for 3 years. Seriously. I had Shark make letters out of wire hangers, to spell LUCKY ME. Well, I finally found all the pieces got around to it.

It now hangs on my door for all to see just how dang LUCKY I am!

Also, where I hung up my decor to get pics, I found someone had a bit of RAGE to get out.

So my mom was here for a visit for Danger's Blessing. {In my church, we bless our babies around 3 months old, we give them a name, one they are known on the records of our church as (same as the one we call them by), and we bless them with things for this life. It's a very neat experience.}

She showed me that my youngest sibling is now a giant.

My almost graduated sister is a cute cheerleader.
And apparently laughs when other are feeling tortured...

And my youngest sister is awesome at making snowmen.
I was never that awesome at it, and I'm pretty awesome at making snowmen. ;)

Alright, and here are some pics of Danger with Grandma!
 Great Grandma got Danger a Peek-a-boo bear, usually he's surpised every time the bear moves, this time he was just staring that bear down!

We went for a walk today. Shark found a little pond on his way to school. We walked there, me, Danger, Shark and bandit. It was nice walk. It was lots of fun!

Love to all ♥

Mustache March

So Shark got home from school today and smiled as he proclaimed it was Mustache March! He immediately went to go shave his goatee and proudly wear a mustache!

Well, I have been trying for a while {ok, a week} to get these foam mustache cutouts to stay attached to Danger's pacifiers. To no avail. I tried hot glue, I tried super glue. So far, no dice.

When I went to the dollar store to find chalk and erasers {they do NOT have!} I found a six pack of adhesive fake mustaches. So I picked up 2 packs, figured, sure why not. When I got home, it hit me! Put the ADHESIVE mustache on Danger's pacifier! It worked, and it was awesome. They don't stay sticky for more than a day or so, but it was perfect for Danger's blessing party, and church. He is THE cutest guy.

Anyways, back to Mustache March. In honor of it being Mustache March, I stuck one on, and Danger wore one as well. Bandit did not, as he already has a mustache.

Yay! He kept looking down, so Shark held his head up. {I stuck his 'stache to the carpet first, so it wasn't as sticky as mine, I didn't want his soft soft skin getting hurt.}

My handsome fellas.
Danger's got stuck on crooked, cuz he doesn't sit still very well.
One I had stuck to his pacifire on Saturday was stuck to a wipes bag, and it was still a little sticky, so I stuck that to him first and had Shark come take a look. Danger smiled for this one! It'sa me, Mario!

Yeah, I have a pretty cute family!
